The Bent Rod Swimbait Jig is made from 3/0 VMC 7161BN jig hooks with a .25oz of lead. 
The hook is a heavy gauge wire, black nickel hook. 
 Using a Swimbait Jig over other conventional jigs like a ball head creates a "belly roll" or side- to- side action that predator fish crave. Also,  the 60° hooks have improved hookup ratios over other popular rigging methods.  You can't go wrong!!
